Supporting The Prince's Trust's Power Up Programme
We recently supported The Prince's Trust's Power Up programme as part of our Better World Pledge commitment. The three-month early career development programme helped 30 new Pets colleagues aged 18 to 30 thrive in the workplace.
Insights collected throughout the programme and in the post-programme survey corroborates the positive effect that we saw in these soft skill areas, with all colleagues noticing an increase in their confidence and resilience.
Our Rushden store colleague, Daryl, who completed the programme last year, said: “The programme has helped me build my confidence and also put a plan in action for my future and what I can do to make things happen. Even though I’m happy where I am for now, when the time comes, I feel better prepared for it.”
