Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and reliability for validated datasets. ·
• Transform raw data into well-structured outputs that support self-serve analytics
• Partner with analysts, data scientists, and decision-makers to gather requirements.
• Create accessible, user-friendly data models aligned with business needs.
• Promote adoption of data products and champion the platform's capabilities across teams.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools to enhance data transformation processes.
• Leverage dbt and orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow) to optimize pipeline efficiency.
• Understand, identify and implement improvements to existing practices and processes in use across our platforms
• Provide second-line support for data pipelines and dashboards. ·
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, minimising business disruption.

• Data Platform Team: The squad who builds and refines our pipelines.
• Analysts & Data Scientists: Insight champions who make magic from data models.
• Delivery & Testing Teams: Partners ensuring smooth rollouts of features we all bark about.

What We’re Looking For:

Must-Have Skills:

• Advanced SQL wizardry – you can debug and optimize in your sleep.
• Python prowess for data transformation and automation.
• Cloud know-how, preferably Google Cloud Platform (but AWS or Azure works too!).
• 2+ years crafting data models with dbt.
• Experience designing and normalizing data warehouses.
• Git skills for version control and collaborative magic.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines).

Bonus Points:

• Experience with tools like R, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Airflow expertise or other orchestration.
• Agile delivery mindset – you can roll with evolving requirements like a pro.
