The key purpose of this role is to support the Central Operations Manager in overseeing and improving current processes within Vets for Pets that directly impact practice colleagues.
The role requires colleague to work alongside the Central Operations Manager to develop and maintain a robust catalogue of processes, with particular focus on practice impacting areas including, but not limited to, RCVS renewals, BVA renewals and ongoing conferences/congress.
The role also includes working with the wider operations and service team to ensure all processes are fit for purpose and meet the requirements of the business and the practice colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops a high level of engagement from colleagues across the SO & remote teams.
- Working alongside Support office colleagues to support shaping clear feedback to our partners, field & wider teams whilst demonstrating our behaviours and values.
- Fostering key relationships across the wider business to ensure a ‘One Team’ collaborative approach across all parts of the Petcare ecosystem.
- Supports a culture of wellbeing focussing on colleague mental health & engagement within the practice. Supporting new wellbeing initiatives that support engagement of the colleagues.
- Capture current processes and routines for directly practice impacting processes including but not limited to regulatory renewals (e.g. RCVS) and congress attendance.
- Liaise with suppliers & key internal stakeholders to understand current challenges or gaps in processes.
- Work with relevant stakeholders to improve or automate processes.
- Oversee and maintain any current or upcoming renewals/congresses.
- Work alongside Communications Publisher to ensure relevant communications are released in a timely manner.
- Produce user guides/step by step guides for processes to pass along to BAU team.
- Produce a structured communication timeline for processes.
- Ensure wider Central Operations team are aware of current priorities and future ways of working.
- Support Practice teams to embed our Values and Behaviours
- Challenge colleagues and practice colleagues whose behaviours are not aligned to our values and behaviours.
- Work with our practice colleagues to make values and behaviour based future decisions.
- Action any concerns raised from future survey results
- Work collaboratively across all Support Office functions as part of support office team
- Work on strategic projects as required.
