Join the team at Pets at Home as a Local Marketing Manager, where you'll lead and deliver local marketing plans for all our new Pet Care Centres and Vets practices as well as our locations who are extending or having a new look.
About the Role
As the Local Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for branding updates, refurbs, extensions, relocations, new openings across our Pet Care Centres (PCC) and Vet Practices. The role is pivotal in executing multi-channel campaigns to support our Pet Care Centres and Vet Partners in their local communities.
The role will require you to work on a hybrid basis (two days per week) from our Support Office in Handforth (Cheshire).
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing end-to-end marketing campaigns, tools and launches for all, new openings, extensions, refurbs, relocations and rebranded locations.
- Leading and developing multi-channel marketing campaigns including digital marketing, CRM, OOH, press, doordrops, launch events and social media
- Continually improving marketing toolkits to drive best-in-class marketing
- Project managing & leading cross functional teams to create and deliver marketing support activities, ensuring timely and impactful delivery for our estate programme
- Working with local media agency to identify innovative ways to reach local communities
- Implementing continuous test and learn approaches to trial new marketing strategies
- Optimising local campaigns and reporting on marketing activities and results
- Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effective programs
- Managing and developing one direct report, fostering their growth and development
- Collaborating and engaging key stakeholders to support and deliver the marketing plan
About You
- A proactive local marketing expert with extensive hands-on multi-channel marketing experience across paid, earned and owned channels
- Proven track record in delivering impactful marketing activity at both national and local levels
- Self-starter with strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet tight deadlines
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Team management and development experience
- Commercially astute with budget management experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in local/regional marketing and working across a multi-site retail operation or account management is preferred
